No Guy pictures but here’s Johnny Depp filming Mortdecai in London, Nov 11th 2013.
Guy Burnet has been cast in new movie Entering The Sea. It will be shot in New York and directed by its writer Lauren Mackenzie.
Lionsgate and OddLot Entertainment have added Guy Burnet to the cast of Mortdecai, alongside Johnny Depp, Ewan McGregor, and Gwyneth Paltrow. The British thesp will play McGregor’s partner in the adaptation of Kyril Bonfiglioli’s book about the murder of an art restorer. David Koepp is directing. Burnet’s upcoming films include indie Beautiful Now and Two Jacks. He’s repped by MJ Management and attorney Geoff Oblath.
Based on Kyril Bonfigliol’s series of novels titled “The Mortdecai Trilogy”, the film will follow eccentric art dealer Charles Mortdecai who, upon discovering the code to a bank vault containing Nazi gold, embarks on an epic journey to find the lost treasure. Depp will be starring as the aforementioned Mortdecai while Burnet will play the faithful assistant to McGregor’s unannounced character.
Koepp is directing from a script penned by “On the Line” scribe Eric Aronson. In addition to starring, Depp will also produce alongside Christi Dembrowski for Infinitum Nihil. Andrew Lazar is producing for Mad Chance Productions. Erik Feig, Michael Paseornek, Gillian Bohrer and James Myers will be overseeing the project as executives.
Burnet is best known for his performances as Riley in Adrian Vitoria’s “Age of Heroes” and Paul in Bernard Rose’s “Two Jacks”, and his short 15 episode arc on BBC America’s “Hollyoaks.” He also recently appeared in W. Peter Iliff’s “Rites of Passage” and Isabella Hyams’ short romantic-comedy “The Skinny.” Next year he’ll be back on the big screen in Daniela Amavia’s “Beautiful Now” and then in Lauren Mackenzie’s “Entering the Sea” in 2015.
Guy’s latest role is Steve in the movie Beautiful Now, scheduled for release in 2014.
